Needing a little energy after the past weekend? When your body isn’t necessarily used to a surplus of carbohydrates (or FOOD, in general), we can feel it! Lethargy, lack of motivation, even signs of mild depression can kick in. Our digestion can slow down, we’re unable to focus, and we’re not exactly feeling LEAN by any means.
Thanksgiving has become one of those times when our caloric intake is at a surplus. The holidays can have us traveling, not working out, and making food choices that we normally wouldn’t make. All is just fine; it’s important to rest, recover and enjoy time with friends and family while celebrating. BUT, (Especially with the FITTEAM Marathon right around the corner!) it’s time for a fresh start to your week and to get back on track to feeling your BEST!
The ingredients in this Thanksgiving Detox Smoothie will have you feeling LEAN, energized, and ready to take on the rest of the year (including more holiday celebrations AND the marathon) in no time!
- 1 Serving FITTEAM LEAN
- 1 Banana, frozen
- 1 tbsp Bee Pollen
- 2 tsp Powdered Greens (of choice)
- 1 Green Apple, cubed
- 1/2 c Lime Juice
- 1 c Spinach
- 1 Cucumber, cubed
- 1/2 c Almond Milk (or other non-dairy milk of choice)
- Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth! Enjoy immediately!
